Who We Are

LSCHC is an all-girls extracurricular colorguard team affiliated with EPIC Homeschool Academy. Participation is open to all homeschool students grades 4th-12th regardless of EPIC class enrollment, offering a unique opportunity to join a Christ-centered performance group. Our team is based in Caledonia, Michigan, with weekly practices held on Mondays at Caledonia Christian Reformed Church. Each season, our students learn choreography, develop technical skills, and grow in confidence as they prepare for performances that showcase storytelling, dance expression and team unity.

Our Mission

Like Stars Christian Homeschool Colorguard's (LSCHC) mission is to worship God, bring others to Christ and to help point others to the Truth through our ministry of dance and performance. 

So, What Is Colorguard Anyway?

Colorguard is a visual art that uses flags, dance, and other equipment to bring music to life. Performers use themes, colors and motion to create routines that feel expressive and meaningful. Students learn how to act, move with purpose, work together, and tell an overall story through choreography. 

For us at LSCHC, colorguard is also a form of worship. We use movement, creativity, and beauty to honor God and reflect His light — offering our gifts back to Him through every practice and performance. And every performance becomes an opportunity for people watching to see the joy and love of Christ reflected in what we do.
